Red Devils ready to spend big on world class forward.
Manchester United have set aside a huge transfer war chest of around £120m to fund a summer move for Gareth Bale, according to the Daily Star.
The Welshman, who only joined current club Real Madrid last season in a a world-record £85m move, is one of United’s top targets under big-spending manager Louis van Gaal.
Bale would no doubt make a superb addition at Old Trafford, and it is thought that Real would consider letting him leave for the right price as they target other big-name signings in attack.
