Manchester United are ready to pay as much as £90m to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to the Metro.
The 25-year-old as been linked today with a surprise move to Old Trafford, just over a year after leaving Tottenham Hotspur for a move to the Bernabeu in a world-record £85m move.
Bale could now be set to break the world transfer record again as he has a £90m asking price at the Spanish giants, though United are ready to pay up for the world class Welsh forward.
