City lining up ambitious deals for world class pair.
Manchester City are said to be targeting the signings of two world class young midfielders in Paul Pogba and Ross Barkley, according to the Times.
The Premier League champions are already planning for next summer and could attempt to beat Chelsea to Pogba in a deal likely to be worth around £60m for the Juventus youngster.
Barkley is also on City’s radar, though it is understood that they may be put off by his astonishing £50m price tag, with the England international also among the most highly-rated young players in the world.
City may be about to lose the unsettled Yaya Toure, and are ready to spend big to replace the influential Ivory Coast star.
