Man United and Arsenal are believed to be running the rule over Mexico international Marco Fabian.
The diminutive midfielder is wanted being momitored by both clubs after exploding onto the world scene with a stunning brace against Barcelona in the World Club Challenge in Miami earlier this month. His goals turned the game around for the Mexican side who recorded an unlikely 4-1 victory over the European champions and put him well and truly in the shop window.
Compatriot and international team mate Javier ‘Chicarito’ Hernandez – to whom the inevitable comparisons have been drawn – has reportedly told United boss Sir Alex Ferguson good things about Fabian and while the Red Devils already have a wealth of attacking midfield talent, the opportunity to snap up the 22-year-old at a knockdown price good be too good to turn down.
However, Arsenal are also casting their eye over the player as they seek to add more creativity and goals to the squad with the departures of both Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas seemingly imminent and, judging by the videos below, Fabian would be more than a little useful in thos departments.
