FC) Luis Suarez – Liverpool
Obviously the league’s best player makes the team, as Suarez is on course to win the Premier League Player of the Year award, and the Golden Boot as well. So far, the brilliant Uruguayan has scored 22 goals in just 17 matches – as many as anyone in Europe.
FC) Romelu Lukaku – Everton
Another Everton loanee, Lukaku has showed his ludicrous potential this term for the Toffees. He’s scored nine and assisted five in the league, and been a constant harrying influence in the final third, such is his immense physical stature and aerial threat.
FC) Daniel Sturridge – Liverpool
In his 12 starts in the Premier League, Sturridge has been nothing short of sensational, and it would be unjust to leave him out of the side when he’s formed such an outstanding partnership with Suarez. He’s scored 11 goals, and will likely spearhead England at next summer’s World Cup if he can stay fit.
