Liverpool and Arsenal have both enquired about Chelsea playmaker Yossi Benayoun, who has been told he can leave Stamford Bridge.
Benayoun has never really troubled the first XI at Chelsea, with a ruptured Achilles tendon ruling him out for much of last season.
He has since confirmed that he is talking to a number of clubs about a switch before the transfer window closes.
“[I am] negotiating with several team…news soon…” confirmed Benayoun using his Twitter account [YossiBenayoun15].
It is unlikely that the Israel international would be first choice at under either Kenny Dalglish or Arsene Wenger, but they will recognise the value of his versatility across attacking midfield.
