Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that the rivalry between the Liverpool and Manchester United is greater than that between the two Scottish giants, Celtic and Rangers.

The native Glaswegian made the claim at his pre-match press conference prior to his team’s trip to Anfield on Saturday and it is interesting to see how his comments will be received in his hometown where he forged a playing career in the blue half of the city.
