No. 4 Ohio State continued to defy the odds by upsetting No. 1 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, 42-35. They have made it to the national championship game along with Oregon, despite losing starting quarterback Braxton Miller to a season-ending shoulder injury before the season.
Second-string quarterback J.T. Barrett filled in admirably with 45 total touchdowns before going down with a season-ending leg injury in the Buckeyes’ regular-season finale against Michigan.
After an unknown commodity in third-string quarterback Cardale Jones stepped in, he shocked fans by leading Ohio State to a 59-0 win over Wisconsin in the Big Ten title game before the Sugar Bowl upset.
The CFB Nation Twitter page posted a question on its account, asking fans who they think will win the national championship with the options of retweeting for Ohio State and favoriting for Oregon.
In a shocking move, Miller favorited this tweet. This will immediately give the impression that Miller is picking his team’s opponent or even rooting for them. This may simply be him liking the tweet though.
