Specially crafted Xbox controller for Hibbert based on recent performances.
Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert has struggled for the majority of the playoffs thus far, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed both within the team and from outside.
Despite being named an All-Star earlier this season after an impressive campaign for the Eastern Conference top seed, Hibbert has struggled significantly to have an impact on the court in recent weeks.
His slump arguably coincided with the team’s struggles during the latter stages of the regular season, and it has undoubtedly continued through the playoffs despite Indiana progressing past the Atlanta Hawks 4-3 in their opening round series.
Hibbert had no points and no rebounds in the semi-finals Game 1 loss to the Washington Wizards, and while he has also been called out by his team-mates and coach in recent times, the FauxJohnMadden account on Twitter has created a specially crafted new-look Xbox controller dubbed the “Roy Hibbert Edition”.
Paul George insists that they need more from him moving forward, while coach Frank Vogel has previously stressed that he isn’t about to drop him and will continue to push him and maintain his faith in the player.
The controller is harsh but hilarious nonetheless…
