St Johnstone striker Cillian Sheridan scored twice to give his side a 2-0 win over Hearts at McDiarmid Park.
Sheridan’s first two goals of the season ended St Johnstone’s wait for their opening home success this term and moved the hosts into fifth place, level on points with Hearts.
St Johnstone took the lead in the 30th minute when Irish forward Sheridan converted Francisco Sandaza’s pass.
He struck again with another cool finish 10 minutes into the second half to leave Paulo Sergio’s team without an away win this season.
