4. Demba Ba
Demba Ba has rather strangely struggled to adapt to life with the Blues.
Last season his time was split nearly evenly between Newcastle United and Chelsea, having moved to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window, but his record for each club could hardly be more different.
For Newcastle United, he scored 13 Premier League goals in 20 appearances. For Chelsea, Ba managed 2 goals in 14 top flight matches.
Ba is now third choice striker under Jose Mourinho, with Fernando Torres and summer signing Samuel Eto’o currently preferred to the Senegal star.
He has work to do to win his place back in the side, or he may have to seek first team football elsewhere.
