Everton striker Louis Saha has shared his disappointment on Twitter after being left out of the squad for the 3-1 win over Wigan at Goodison Park.
Saha, 33, has played just 41 minutes of football this season, both as a substitute, and has not taken to the field since August 24 in the Carling Cup win over Sheffield United.
Moyes has already stressed to his players that he will pick his starting-eleven based on form and fitness, and with Saha struggling with the latter the Frenchman has found himself on the periphery of the first team.
Club captain Phil Neville has also struggled to break into the side, having spent the last two games on the bench.
‘I am not good enough. Absolutely destroyed,’ Saha tweeted. ‘It’s coz I’m confident in my ability that I’m gutted.’
It is reported that Saha left Goodison Park soon after realising he was not in the squad, but then took to Twitter shortly before kick-off with a more positive message for his team-mates: ‘Come on lads. 3pts.’
