Chelsea transfer rumours
The Blues are seemingly in the market for new signings upfront and want to bring in the Bosnian international as a backup player for the likes of Diego Costa and Loic Remy.
With both these frontmen struggling with injuries throughout the season, it makes sense that Jose Mourinho is eager to add depth to that position, particularly due to doubts over Didier Drogba’s future at Stamford Bridge.
According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea could try to capitalise on Dzeko’s uncertain situation at the Etihad Stadium, with the 29-year-old not managing to establish himself as a regular this season.
Still, the former Wolfsburg man did score 26 times last season, showing he can be a top class centre-forward on his day, and a more than capable squad player for Mourinho’s side if needed.
