The financial details of the deal are unknown, but the Bengals are bringing back a fixture of their defense that has been with the team for six seasons.
Maualuga battled a hamstring injury in the 2014 season but was still able to play 12 games.
The former USC linebacker has battled other injuries throughout his career but has only missed 11 games while being a consistent starter. He set a career high for tackles in 2012 with 122.
