Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas says he has no fears about selecting John Terry against Arsenal – despite the ongoing investigation into what happened between he and Anton Ferdinand against QPR last weekend.
Terry was left out of the Carling Cup match against Everton in midweek, but Villas-Boas claims that a possible suspension was the only reason for his omission.
Terry has collected four yellow cards so far this season – as has Frank Lampard – and Villas-Boas did not want to risk losing him for the Arsenal match.
Furthermore, it meant that other players such as David Luiz, Oriol Romeu, Josh McEachran and Romelu Lukaku were able to impress.
