Atletico Madrid are set to clinch the signing of long-term Chelsea and Liverpool target Arda Turan.
Both Premier League clubs have been keen on the Turkey international for over two years and scouts have tracked his progress with Galatasaray.
Turan has been linked heavily with a move away from Turkey this summer as he seeks a fresh challenge abroad.
The 24-year-old had previously stated his admiration for Liverpool, with the Anfield club keen on bolstering their options on the wings and have already signed Stewart Downing this summer.
While a swap deal involving Chelsea striker Didier Drogba was also touted amongst the Turkish media.
Turan, however, looks to be heading to Spain, with Galatasaray said to be resigned to losing him after officials from Madrid made contact regarding a deal.
