Napoli ace Jose Callejon has reportedly been given a €20m price-tag from the Italian giants to ward off interest from Liverpool.
The Spaniard has also been linked with Chelsea this summer, but after the reigning Premier League champions signed Pedro on Thursday, it is unlikely that they will delve back into the market for another winger.
Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped links with a switch to Anfield, although Brendan Rodgers will now have to seemingly dig deep in the ownership’s pockets again to prise him away from Naples.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have suggested that the 28-year-old could move on if the fee is matched by an interested party, and it comes just a day after his agent suggested that they would be open to discussions, as reported by Football Italia.
No offer has arrived as of yet, but it is also claimed that Inter are interested and could well be ready to make a move if they fail to land Ivan Perisic from Wolfsburg.
It is reported that Brazilian defender Juan Jesus could be included in the deal, but the Inter man doesn’t want to leave San Siro which could cause an issue in negotiations.
