Arsenal are preparing to raid Shakhtar Donetsk for two of their star players as they seek to spend some of the £55m that will be raised from the sales of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
Brazilian pair Jadson and Willian have been identified as the men to replace the departing pair and it would seem that a deal for the former has already been done. As reported earlier by fanatix, Jadson used the micro-blogging service Twitter to send a not too subtle message about his future and the classy playmaker could be an Arsenal player early next week.
And Willian could be about to join his international team mate at the Emirates Stadium sooner rather than later with Arsenal rekindling their interest in the 23-year-old. The Gunners asked about the player’s availability in the January transfer window only to be rebuffed but have now enquired once again during negotiations over Jadson, receiving more positive news.
The Premier League club will need to stump up around £18m for the wide player’s signature but meeting that price should not be a problem with the club set to plough the entire amount received through player sales back into the squad.
