Gunners and other clubs to miss out on Dortmund star.
Arsenal and a host of other Premier League clubs look set to miss out on the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus as he closes in on a £21 move to Atletico Madrid, according to Cadena Cope.
The Spanish champions have seemingly struck a deal with the Bundesliga club and the player himself that will see Reus complete a somewhat surprising move to the Vicente Calderon this summer.
The 25-year-old has been one of the best attacking players in Europe in recent times, scoring 23 goals in all competitions last season, and was a notable absentee from this summer’s World Cup due to injury.
Arsenal and Liverpool have recently emerged as the main contenders to sign him, but he now looks like completing an intriguing move to Atletico, where he will form an exciting-looking attack alongside fellow new-boys Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann.
