Ex-Arsenal striker fuming over missed Fabregas deal.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has tweeted that someone at the club should be sacked for failing to re-sign Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona this summer, the Daily Telegraph reports.
The Spanish international instead signed for Chelsea and has proven to be one of the Premier League’s best players this season, helping Jose Mourinho’s side to the top of the table.
Wright is known for being outspoken and controversial with his views, but stood by his words despite admitting he’d ‘had a few’.
“For the record the mere fact that Fabregas is at Chelsea when we had first option, don’t care who but someone should be sacked,” he said.
H then added: “many a true word spoken in drunken tongue!”
