No new contract for top Premier League target.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are on alert as Real Madrid will not be offering Sami Khedira a new contract, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with an exit from the Bernabeu for some time now, and it now looks as though the club are unlikely to make an effort to keep him.
Khedira has long been regarded as one of the finest defensive midfielders in Europe, and he could be available on a cut-price deal this January or even for free next summer if he does not sign a new contract.
Although the German international has been ready to enter into negotiations with the Spanish giants, it now seems that the club are not looking to keep him.
