Real Madrid have stamped a £40m price tag on Angel Di Maria, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal interested…
Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria is again being linked with a move away from the club, with Premier League heavyweights Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal reported to be interested in taking him aboard. Reports in The Daily Star have revealed that Los Blancos may agree to let go of the highly-rated Argentine, should they receive a £40m offer for him.
Di Maria was linked with a move to the Premier League last summer too. However, with the player having played an important role in the club’s Champions League-winning season last campaign, questions are being raised on the authenticity of the aforementioned reports.
Additionally, City are already under the scanner of UEFA for having failed to adhere to Financial Fair Play regulations, and thus may not be able to shell out that mercurial amount. Also, with United and Arsenal having already spent significant sums on midfielders last season (Juan Mata and Mesut Ozil respectively), it is unclear whether they will be ready to spend on the Argentine or not.
