Manchester United could be set to receive a big-money bid in the region of £45m from Paris Saint-Germain to sign Angel Di Maria in the summer transfer window, according to CaughtOffside.
The unsettled Argentine has had a disappointing first season in the Premier League, failing to reproduce the fine form that made him a hit at prrevious club Real Madrid, as well as prompting the Red Devils to pay a club-record £60m to sign him.
PSG now hope they can lure the 27-year-old to France for next season, with Laurent Blanc’s side looking in need of strengthening after a disappointing season which could result in failure to retain their Ligue 1 title.
Di Maria would no doubt add real quality to their side if he could get back to his best, with the physical nature of the English game perhaps not best suited to his playing style.
It remains to be seen if United will accept a £15m loss on their record signing just one year after bringing him in.
