The final group of the 2014 World Cup kicks off today as Belgium and Algeria go head-to-head as the two nations start their tournament.
The Belgians are the favourites to top this group and will be looking to get off to a positive start by beating the supposed weakest team in the pool.
Manager Marc Wilmots has a fully strength squad to pick from with both Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku and Wolfsburg’s Kevin de Bruyne overcoming injury concerns ahead of the game.
De Bruyne is expected to start behind Lukaku, with Steven Defour the man who is thought to be axed from the XI as a result.
There will be a host of familiar faces on show for fans of the Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur trio Nacer Chadli, Moussa Dembele and Jan Vertonghen in the squad, along with Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj, Everton winger Kevin Mirallas and Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany.
For the Algerians head coach Vahid Halilhodzic has some experienced heads in Faouzi Ghoulam and Saphir Taïder at his disposal, who are both expected to start along with Spurs’ Nabil Bentaleb.
