Hammers target another forward signing to complement Andy Carroll…
West Ham owner David Sullivan has admitted via Twitter that the Hammers are keen to sign another striker this summer.
Sullivan held a Q&A session via his son’s Twitter account, and answered questions regarding the club’s transfer ambitions, the team’s style of play and a potential move for Scott Parker.
The West ham owner said that while he is happy with the direct style of football Sam Allardyce brings to the club, he is looking to bring in attacking talent as a priority.
A move for Scott Parker would only take place if his wage demands still enabled the Hammers to bring in a striker.
West Ham have signed Andy Carroll already this summer for £15m, and have snapped up Razvan Rat and Adrian on free transfers.
Here are the pick of Sullivan’s tweets:
@MarcOfAsgard we need goal scorers not defenders
