After hanging his boots up, former Ghana international Stephen Appiah is hoping to embark on the next chapter in his career and West Ham have given him a helping hand.
The 37-year-old is looking to enjoy a career in management, with the national team job expected to be on his list of targets in the future.
In order to get a better idea of what it takes to successfully manage a group of players, Betway Ghana invited the the former Black Stars ace to spend a week working with West Ham – who are 33/1 in the football betting to finish in the top four next season.
After being given an opportunity to watch both the first team and academy while learning from the likes of Mark Noble, Patrice Evra and Joe Hart, it would undoubtedly have given him a key insight into the inner workings of management while also spending time with the coaching staff and medical team.
