Coleman views the Gunners midfielder as being in the same class as Bale.
Despite being considered international minnows Wales have two world-class superstars in their ranks in the shape of Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey of Arsenal.
The duo are both enjoying impressive seasons at their respective clubs and whilst Bale is the current world record transfer at an eye-watering £85.3m, national manager Chris Coleman says Ramsey is in the same class as the Los Blancos superstar.
“When you see what he is doing at the minute then why would you not say he is at a similar level [to Bale]?” Coleman was quoted by ITV.
“What he’s doing at the minute is enjoying his football.
“He’s found his confidence again. He’s always had the ability, he just needed to get the confidence back and he’s got that.”
Ramsey was criticised by many when the midfielder was under-performing at the Emirates Stadium, but 2013 has been a brilliant year for the 22-year-old and this campaign in particular has been extremely fruitful.
The Welshman is the Gunners’ current top-scorer with 13 strikes in all competitions, as well as six assists including a superb ‘no look’ through ball to set up Mesut Ozil midweek.
Bale meanwhile was heavily criticised as well when first arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu, but is now on top form once again and the 24-year-old has seven goals and seven assists in just nine La Liga matches.
Coleman may never be expected to achieve much with Wales, but with this pair of aces at the manager’s disposal there are endless possibilities.
