Playmaker could now make his debut this weekend.
Netherlands midfield player Wesley Sneijder has successfully completed his medical at Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Hundreds of fans welcomed Sneijder as he landed in Istanbul ahead of his impending ten million euros move from Inter Milan and the Dutch international is enjoying the attention.
“When I came here yesterday, when I arrived from the airport, I had a warm welcome by all the fans so it was amazing,” Sneijder said.
“But I had a warm welcome this morning as well. I feel really comfortable here in Istanbul already and I’m ready to train.”
Sneijder has signed a three and a half year deal with the Turkish Super Lig leaders.
