Spurs striker Harry Kane is enjoying the form of his life, fresh off the back of an England call-up, the 21-year-old netted his first senior hat-trick against Leicester City in the Premier League.
Those goals took Kane to the top of the Premier League’s goalscoring charts, scoring 19 goals in 26 appearances. Despite the nerves usually visible in a player’s demeanour once they receive their first senior international call-up, Kane is showing no such signs judging by the latest footage from England’s training sessions.
Arsenal star Theo Walcott was on the wrong end of a sharp turn from the in-form forward, slipping on his backside as Kane sent the ball in the other direction. Gary Cahill labelled the Spurs man as a ‘complete forward’ and Kane is certainly on a mission to show that his spell among the senior set-up will not be a brief one.
With Daniel Sturridge ruled out of the upcoming England games, leaving Kane out of the starting line-up would be a brave decision by Roy Hodgson.
