Port Adelaide’s Matt White has taken out the AFL Goal of the Year after his stunning solo effort against his former club Richmond.
While the Power were knocked out of premiership contention on the weekend in a nail-biting loss to Hawthorn, White can take solace in that his incredible goal secured him some silverware in 2014.
White won the award ahead of Adelaide’s Eddie Betts and Western Bulldogs young-gun Marcus Bontempelli.
