Late goal in stoppage time hands win to Glory.
Perth Glory sealed their third victory in four matches with a last minute win over the Newcastle Jets.
A goal to Michael Thwaite deep in stoppage time claimed victory for Perth and the win puts them only 2-points behind fifth-placed Newcastle on the A-League ladder.
The Jets were without star striker and ex-England international Emile Heskey whose presence was sorely missing for the Newcastle side.
Adam Taggart did his best to fill in the absence of Heskey, scoring right on half time against his former club.
Matias Cordoba put the visitors ahead in the 24th minute and Thwaites’ second A-League goal was enough for Glory to claim the win.
