Manning leads Broncos to AFC title and place in Super Bowl.
The Denver Broncos are set for a trip to New York on February 2 after a 26-16 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday secured their place at the Super Bowl.
Star quarterback Peyton Manning will bid for his second ring and in doing so could become the first quarterback to win one with two different teams.
The 37-year-old ended the game with 400 passing yards for two touchdown passes, while Knowshon Moreno had 14 carries for 59 yards and Demaryius Thomas starred receiving.
It remains to be seen who the Broncos will face as the Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, but Manning will be buoyed having come out on top against fellow star quarterback Tom Brady.
Prior to the game, Manning insisted that it was the Patriots vs the Broncos as opposed to a direct battle between the two quarterbacks, but will acknowledge that yet another win will further cement his legacy in the game as he now looks ahead to Super Bowl week.
