Jarnell Stokes and Kalin Lucas were ejected from Tuesday’s NBA D-League game between the Iowa Energy and Rio Grande Valley Vipers for fighting. The problem was, they both play for the same team.
The pair are team-mates for the Energy, the D-League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies and although the footage of the fight isn’t great, you can clearly see the problem starting during the timeout before it escalates into a brawl.
Lucas finished the game with 18 points, five assists and five rebounds while Stokes had 16 points and eight rebounds.
However, despite Iowa winning 124-120, the fight will have done little to help their respective careers as the Grizzlies will surely take into this consideration when deciding on whether or not to bring either star onto their roster.
It is not clear as to what started the argument but the two players ensured that they ended it in front of everyone on the sideline as the video clips of the fight have unsurprisingly gone viral since.
