Britain’s Andy Murray was in imperious form as he marched into the fourth round of the Australian Open, while Caroline Wozniacki was also victorious.
The Scot enjoyed a comfortable straight-sets victory in Melbourne, overcoming Lithuanian qualifier Ricardas Berankis 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 win.
Former U.S. Open champion Juan Martin del Potro then went down to Jeremy Chardy of France.
With the match at two sets all, the Frenchman held his nerve in the final set to progress to the fourth round.
Finally, Wozniacki advanced to the next round after a 6-4, 6-3 win over Ukrainian qualifier Lesia Tsurenko.
The Dane will face Svetlana Kuznetsova in the last 16.
