James expected to open up on a number of issues.
NBA TV will air a one-on-one interview with Miami Heat star LeBron James on February 17 as part of its coverage of the All-Star weekend.
The network will have special programming all weekend, with several live events from New Orleans including the Hall of Fame announcement on Friday and Adam Silver’s first news conference as NBA Commissioner on Saturday.
The All-Star game will then be shown on the Sunday night before the features continue on Monday which will include Steve Smith’s interview with the two-time NBA champion.
James has rarely spoken so publicly about his career in the league thus far, but topics that will be addressed include how he felt in his first season after leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat and that initial situation of settling alongside Dwyane Wade.
The pair have grown extremely close since linking up in Miami along with Chris Bosh to form the “Big Three”, and in the teaser clip below James reveals how D-Wade conceded that he would take a step back to allow James to be the franchise player.
