City fans get a glimpse of the biggest Premier League signing this summer so far…
Fernandinho turned out for Manchester City in their 1-0 win in the semi-finals of the Barclays Asia Trophy against South China, and gave fans a glimpse of what they can expect at the Etihad this season.
The £30m Brazilian has a fantastic eye for a pass, but is equally as dynamic between the boxes. Fernandinho is slight, and this helps him drift between the lines – but he is far more robust than players like Samir Nasri and David Silva who currently operate in these channels for City. The 28-year-old is likely to play a more central role for City under new boss Pellegrini, and City fans will be excited about seeing him link up with the other new signings Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo this season.
