CP3 tipped for MVP award this season.
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul put on another show on Monday night as he led his team to a 137-118 win over the Houston Rockets.
Widely considered as a top candidate to secure the MVP award this season, the 28-year-old followed up his 42-point game last week with another impressive outing against the Rockets.
The point guard recorded 23 points in another solid shooting performance, but also dished out 17 assists as the Clippers had too much fire-power for the visitors who had Dwight Howard return to the city for the first time since his departure from the Lakers.
Paul’s all-round game appears to be hitting heady heights early on in the season, and his ability to be the floor general for his team has allowed head coach Doc Rivers to make a successful start to life in Los Angeles.
CP3 is undoubtedly amongst the top point guards in the league, if not the best, and with displays like the one that he put on at the Staples Center on Monday night, he will make it an easy argument in any debate.
