James in efficient scoring mode against Mavs.
Miami Heat star LeBron James played an influential role in his team’s 110-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.
The 28-year-old scored 39 points on only 18 shots and believes that if he had the opportunity to shoot double that amount then he could “easily score 60 or 70”.
While Dwyane Wade also played an integral role in the win with his defensive work after grabbing a career-best eight steals, the Heat look as though they are warming to the task after a relatively slow start to the season.
Meanwhile, James is shooting 69 per cent in his last three games, 61 per cent for the season, and will look to continue to keep his impressive numbers up as he looks to follow up an incredible individual season last year.
With their season record now standing at 6-3, Miami will look to extend their winning streak when they travel to Charlotte on Saturday night to face the Bobcats, with James undoubtedly in fine scoring form.
