Given Ghana’s star studded squad the Black Stars have to be considered contenders for the Africa Cup of Nations but they will have to improve defensively if they are to come out on top, Issam Jemaa giving Tunisia the lead in the 17th minute.
Ghana may also want to consider a new goalkeeper after this awful error by Adam Kwarasey allowed Jemaa to double The Eagles of Carthage’s lead five minutes after half-time.
What can’t be questioned is the Black Stars fighting spirit as John Boye got his team back into the game in the 56th minute.
It was a shame the stadium was practically empty as Ghana embarked on a remarkable comeback, Mubarak Wakaso levelling the match from the penalty spot after Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu had been brought down inside the box.
Captain Asamoah Gyan then completed the turn around as he made it 3-2 in the 72nd minute as Tunisia capitulated against a rampant Ghana.
Albert Adomah wrapped up Ghana’s third successive friendly win five minutes from full time as the four-time Africa Cup of Nations winners warmed up nicely for their tournament opener against Congo DR.
