Mayweather vs Pacquaio press conference: (Video) Watch the press conference back.
Pacquiao had been mocking his opponent in an interview with ESPN First Take prior to the press conference, and the pair swapped further jibes as they took to the podium to discuss their upcoming bout.
Both men have looked sharp in training camp thus far, and with just over seven weeks to go until the biggest fight in the sport’s history, the excitement is undoubtedly building.
Mayweather is naturally adamant that he will extend his unbeaten record to 48-0, while Pacquiao is confident that he can show how to beat the undefeated superstar.
Given that the press conference event alone distributed 700 media accreditations, the fight itself is expected to generate huge revenue and interest around the world and it promises to be a great clash of styles with Pacquiao’s offensive approach against the defensive genius of his American rival.
Opinion is certainly split through the boxing world and in the general public, but Mayweather remains the favourite for the bout with Pacquaio having to produce something special to finally inflict a defeat on him.
