Alastair Cook is aiming to put the disappointment of the last series behind them.
England skipper Alastair Cook wants the team to put the disappointing result of a drawn series in New Zealand behind them by beating the Black Caps in the upcoming Test at Lord’s.
The Three Lions were expected to comfortably win against the team ranked five places below them in the world rankings back in March, but could only scrape a draw after some determined batting.
Cook is now looking for the team to put that result behind them by recording a win over the Kiwis in their two-match series – with the first five-day fixture starting at Lord’s on Thursday.
