Fan pleads with Gunners boss not to sign midfield star.A Southampton fan has recorded a video of himself meeting Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on the beach, and pleaded with him not to sign midfield star Morgan Schneiderlin from the Saints.
The Saints supporter, who goes by the username ‘ambozinho’ on YouTube, uploaded the recording to the popular video-sharing website, showing himself having a casual chat with Wenger by the sea.
Schneiderlin has been a key player for Southampton in recent years, and is also part of France’s World Cup squad this summer, attracting interest from bigger clubs, with Arsenal widely believed to be his main suitors in this year’s transfer window.
A relaxed Wenger laughed off the comments, with no indication as to whether or not he would obey the fan’s wishes!
