It’s that time of the week where we look at the best marks of the round from the AFL.
Buddy Franklin’s one-handed mark for Sydney against his old club Hawthorn in the second weekend of the split round was met with a chorus of boo’s at the MCG, but both Swans fans and neutrals could do nothing but applause such a sublime piece of skill.
Lindsay Thomas’s specky was easily the most spectacular mark of the round, but Lee Spurr’s back-with-the-flight effort for the Dockers against the Saints deserves praise for its pure courage.
