Paul Pogba is expected to snub a lucrative transfer to Manchester City in order to secure his dream switch to Barcelona.
The Juventus midfielder is one of the hottest properties in world football and has also been linked with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United, whom he left in 2012 to kickstart a blossoming career.

The Citizens hope to lure the Frenchman back to Manchester and are willing to smash the British transfer record with a £70m bid, and then offer him a monster £45m package to sign.
However, The Daily Star claims that Pogba will reject these terms, which would make him one of the highest-paid players in the world, and instead follow his heart by moving to the Camp Nou.
Barca are banned from making signings until next summer after breaching FIFA’s rules on the transfer of players aged under 18, but they can put in place future deals, and the 22-year-old is prepared to play the waiting game.
Pogba’s dominating performances and goals from midfield have helped Juventus secure three successive Serie A titles, and reach the final of the Champions League for the first time in 12 years this season.
