How the north Londoners are expected to start against the relegation candidates.
It’s a London derby in the early Premier League kickoff on Saturday as Tottenham Hotspur host relegation threatened Fulham at White Hart Lane.
Despite a relatively disappointing season for the north London side to date, Spurs are still in with the chance of qualifying for the Europa League again for next term.
They will however need to beat the Cottagers as Manchester United are close on their tail, but with the west Londoners fighting for their top flight survival this could well be a close encounter.
Here’s how fanatix thinks Tottenham will lineup.
GK – Hugo Lloris
One of the few players at the club who has been consistently good again this year, but with no Champions League football for a second successive season the Frenchman may be eyeing up a move away.
RB – Kyle Naughton
Manager Tim Sherwood has something of an injury crisis currently – particularly in defence – and with first choice right-back Kyle Walker out, namesake and former Sheffield United teammate Naughton will have to fill in.
LB – Danny Rose
After impressing on-loan at Sunderland in 2012/13 there was a lot expected of this left-back this campaign, but fitness issues have hampered Rose’s progress.
CB – Younes Kaboul
It’s a similar story in central defence, where both captain Michael Dawson and Jan Vertonghen are also absent with injuries and therefore Kaboul will be required to fill in.
CB – Vlad Chiriches
Of all the influx of new faces last summer this Romania international has been one of the few who has impressed and will need to provide stability alongside the inconsistent Kaboul.
