Youngster could follow Dempsey and Sigurdsson in opting for White Hart Lane over Anfield.
TOTTENHAM and Newcastle are trying to hijack Liverpool’s move to re-sign Thomas Ince.
The Merseysiders are confident of wrapping up a £4m deal to bring Blackpool star Ince back to Anfield in January.
But Starsport has learned Spurs and Newcastle have also tabled offers as the race hots up to sign the exciting left-footed winger.
The Seasiders are understood to have received offers from SEVEN different clubs for the 20-year-old.

Liverpool had looked clear favourites to re-sign Blackpool winger Tom Ince but both Spurs and Newcastle have emerged as rivals for the 20-year-old’s signature.
The news that Tottenham have entered the race for the England under-21 international will be sickening familiar for Reds’ boss Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers made Gylfi Sigurdsson and Clint Dempsey his top targets over the summer, only to watch Spurs hijack Liverpool’s moves for the duo and the prospect of history repeating itself must be weighing heavy over the former Swansea boss.
The Northern Irishman has made adding some genuine pace and width to his ailing Liverpool squad a priority since joining in the summer and there’s no doubt that Ince would provide both.
But Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas also craves competition for Aaron Lennon, as evidenced by his pursuit of Shakhtar’s Willian over the summer. Ince started his career at Liverpool and may still have a soft spot for the club but if he has genuine Champions League ambitions, a move to White Hart Lane may be more attractive, with the North Lodoners currently 8 points above Liverpool in fourth.
Newcastle too are seeking some added width, with Gabriel Obertan now untrusted by boss Alan Pardew. But the Toon club have failed to bid on the success of last season and are now languishing closer to the relegation zone than top four, which may deter Ince.
