The sulky Bulgarian’s agent has gone public with his client’s desire to leave Fulham and new boss Rene Muelensteen says he will not stand in the 32-year-old’s way. Berba’s former club Spurs have been linked with the player who scored 46 goals in two seasons at White Hart Lane but a move across London seems unlikely, particularly after his acrimonious exit to Old Trafford in 2008. But stranger things have happened and Berba might flourish alongside the likes of Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela.
