2. Robert Lewandowski (Borussia Dortmund)
Like Dortmund teammate Mario Goetze, Lewandowski may well be destined for Bundesliga super-club Bayern Munich. But having won the German title twice with Dortmund and reached this season’s Champions League semi-final, the prolific Pole may fancy a change of scene and there was definite interest from Old Trafford before Robin van Persie arrived from Arsenal. The 24-year-old has netted 29 goals in 35 appearances for the Germans this season and would be an upgrade on the willing but sparse Danny Welbeck or a good replacement for Javier Hernandez, should the Mexican seek pastures new.
