Sydney Swans star Kieren Jack is free to play in Saturday’s AFL Grand Final at the MCG after he was hit with a fine for misconduct during the Swans’ big win over North Melbourne on Friday.
Jack was cited for misconduct after he slung Kangaroos defender Luke McDonald over the boundary line and into a group of AFL officials during the first quarter of the preliminary final at ANZ Stadium.
The 27-year-old initial penalty was a $2400 fine, but it can be reduced to $1800 with a guilty plea.
