Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup may make a number of changes for the visit of Manchester City on New Year’s Day.
The Dane could bring in Wayne Routledge, Leon Britton and Angel Rangel for Roland Lamah, Jose Canas and Dwight Tiendalli, while Alavro could also be given the nod up front in place of Wilfried Bony.
Gary Monk, Nathan Dyer, Michu and Michel Vorm are the Swans’ only injury concerns, as they look for their first win in five Premier League matches.
Man City head-coach Manuel Pellegrini is also expected to rotate his squad as the Chilean looks to maintain Man City’s 8-game unbeaten run.
Alvaro Negredo, Samir Nasri, Yaya Toure, Joleon Lescott and Aleksandar Kolarov are all set to return to the starting XI, while Joe Hart should keep his place between the sticks despite suffering a nasty bruise in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Micah Richards, Sergio Aguero, Stevan Jovetic and Martin Demichellis remain out, while David Silva is suspended.
The match will be live on Sky Sports with coverage starting at 7pm. If you don’t have a Sky subscription why not grab yourself a NOW TV Sky Sports Day Pass – Pay As You Go access to all 6 Sky Sports channels for the first time ever!
